Travel service - We offer a travel service - please ensure you contact us with plenty of notice ( at least 6 weeks before you plan to travel to enable us to plan your vaccination/medication requirements).Please note this is not an NHS service and so any vaccinations or medications required will incur a charge. Carers - you are entitled to a health check / review with your GP or Nurse. Please make an appointment at the surgery

Friends & Family test - this is a simple test of our service and provides us with useful feedback as to how we are doing. We would be most grateful if you would complete this short set of questions if you have used our service. Cards are available from reception or your GP/Nurse.

Please note the surgery will be closed from 1pm at Allerton Health Centre and from 1pm at Girlington Road Health Centre on Wednesday 24th January 2018. We will re-open at 8am on Thursday 25th January at 8am.  If you require a GP please call the practice on Tel:01274 484111 and your call will be diverted to the on call doctor.  

Christmas opening 

Wednesday 27th December 8am - 1pm at Allerton Health Centre

Girlington Surgery 7am - 6pm

Thursday 28th December 8am - 6pm. Our calls from 1pm until 6pm will be taken by our out of hours provider.  Our reception is open at Allerton and Girlington.

Friday 29th December Open as usual.

If you require assistance outside normal surgery hours ring our number as normal and your call will be diverted to the Out of Hours Service  who will deal with your problem.

Please be aware that this service is for urgent cases only. Non-urgent cases should wait until the next working day.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call the 111 service  to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

 

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
